Through the fusion of multiple artistic disciplines, it emphasizes urgency: remember that every action today impacts tomorrow—and the day after.

Theaterkrant – Moos van den Broek: As in Dors’s other works, we primarily witness a moving community. Particularly striking are the impressive visuals by video artist Geert Mul (…), whose gigantic video projections draw our attention towards the backdrop. In the landscape he creates, we shift from muddy construction sites to black holes, from artificiality to primal form, from downfall to revival—consciously transitioning from black-and-white to color. This journey is breathtaking. To give the projections theatrical depth, the images echo through Katrin Bombe’s scenography.

She undoubtedly has courage, evident in all her performances: a blend of contemporary and hip-hop dance, music, and spoken word. Arts Talk Magazine – Atulya Jain: (Sur)render is a multimodal production where Dors’s choreography intersects with the dynamic live music by the HAYP band and Geert Mul’s breathtaking video art, creating an unapologetic commentary on how we, as humans, must change our ways if we wish to survive the consequences of our actions. What particularly stands out is that, despite its intensity and strong opinions, the entire performance leaves room for individual interpretation. While the body language and music were essential, the visual elements were the crowning jewel. The interplay of lights created diverse atmospheres, from urgency to ethereality, and the video art particularly heightened the discomfort intended by the show.
